Sports Performance
To provide complete sports training for athletes of all sports and ages. Male and female, professional and amateur, masters and recreational athletes, all will benefit. Instruction and correction are a priority in order to fine-tune athletes for a successful career. It is not enough that an athlete does a drill, but that the drill or weight work is done with proper technique.
You must learn not only through repetition but through understanding why you do what you do. Practice makes permanent. It’s our goal to begin the principles of sports training at an early age so that proper technique is learned in the beginning. Every training component will be addressed:
- Speed
- Strength
- Stamina
- Power
- Flexibility
- Explosion
- Nutrition
Everybody is Looking for an Edge
Anyone involved in any level of competitive sports wants to excel. The ideal edge is to start young in all phases of sports development. You can, however, take control of your situation though total preparation. Starting with programs that are both instructional and effective, you can gain that edge.
Atmosphere to Succeed
An effective program must provide a proper “atmosphere to succeed in”. A very big part of that is a support network of professionals to meet the many changing needs an athlete may encounter. Through the many years of team and individual work,
Steve has developed such a network of physicians, physical therapists, sports nutritionists, and Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC) available to all athletes. Knowing these various professionals personally, it is easy to follow up with any additional training needs that may be required.
Modern Old School
Schools of thought about which is the best way to train are as abundant as the stars at night. It is like arguing about whose favorite sports team is the best (the Cowboys). Everybody is right. Our position is that there are several ways to cook an egg, we just recommend that you don’t eat it raw.
With training, it’s not so much going through the motions as much as correct. Bad or wrong training will disappoint in terms of achieving goals. We train effectively and with solid fundamentals. We know we are not the only training system on the planet, but the methods are based on science and results. We hope to change, adapt or adjust as our knowledge grows.
