Chrissy Richards

A former Division I athlete, Chrissy is the perfect example of how hard work, dedication, and perseverance can pay off.
Growing up in Plano, Chrissy graduated from Plano East Senior High School where she played varsity volleyball for 3 years and was a co-captain of the team in both her junior and senior seasons. She was an all-district player all 3 years, as well as being named to the all-state team her senior season, and qualified for the Junior Olympics 2005-2007.
Chrissy attended the University of Oklahoma on a full athletic scholarship, where she played volleyball all 4 years. She played middle blocker, but trained and played outside and right side as well. Her team made it to the NCAA tournament 3 out of 4 years, including making it to the Sweet 16 her senior season. She was also named to the Academic All-Big 12 first team all 3 years she was eligible.
She graduated from OU in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science.
Outside of training at DUSF, Chrissy is the JV Volleyball coach at Episcopal Schools of Dallas, and coaches 15’s and 18’s for Victory Volleyball Club.
